In New Uzbekistan, our main goals are to pay attention to women and provide comprehensive support to them. One of these noble works is the work of a woman in Fergana, and her life experience will be continued as an example for future youth.

During President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s trip to Fergana, a vocational school of agriculture named after Lola Murotova was opened.

Lola Murotova was a Hero of Uzbekistan, an Honored Worker of Agriculture in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and an awardee of the “El-Yurt Khurmati” (Respect of the Nation) and “Fidokorona Khizmatlari Uchun” (For Dedicated Services) orders. She devoted her entire life to agriculture and achieved great social success and respect.

High appreciation of Lola Murotova’s work has always been in the attention of state leaders. This education institution was organized to bring her rich experience to young people and train mid-level personnel in agriculture.

The vocational school is designed for 480 students and trains personnel at the initial stage of vocational education. It has over thirty classrooms, seven laboratories, computer classes, a conference room, and a museum. Students will also have a dormitory for 150 people, a gym, a mini-football field, a workshop, a greenhouse, and a training track.

Training courses for farmers will be launched at the expense of customers. This will undoubtedly develop the agricultural sector in the future and supply competitive products to the world market.

Today, if we look at any industry, we can see that women are making a significant contribution to its development. Behind this activity is the effect of the attention paid to them in training highly educated personnel. Our young female scientists are being supported, especially in their master’s and doctoral studies, which also creates a foundation for the supply of selfless and hardworking personnel like Lola Murotova in the future. This will ensure that our women and girls will be worthy contributors to the development of New Uzbekistan.
